Back by popular demand and just in time to quench your summer thirst—the Sawyer Yards Brewery Crawl returns on Friday, August 2nd! If you joined us last time, you already know the drill. If you missed out, don’t worry—we saved you a seat at the bar.
What’s the Brewery Crawl?
It’s exactly what it sounds like: a laid-back, self-guided hop (or crawl) through breweries and cideries of Sawyer Yards.

Start (or end) your crawl at Houston’s go-to cidery, where fresh-pressed New York apples are transformed into award-winning ciders. Whether you’re into dry, tart, fruit-forward, or botanical flavors, we have a cider for you! Be sure to try our tropical fruity Ciders, our floral Lavender Royale Cider, or one of our rotating seasonal favorites. For those of you who dont drink cider, we make beer too!
🍺 Holler Brewing Co. – 2206 Edwards Street
Known for high-quality, small-batch brews, Holler Brewing Co. is a must-visit for beer lovers. Their clean lagers, hop-forward IPAs, and rich stouts make this a perfect stop for craft beer enthusiasts. Expect an ever-changing tap list, a welcoming atmosphere, and some of the best pours in Houston.
🦘 Platypus Brewing – 1902 Washington Avenue
An Australian-American fusion brewery, Platypus Brewing blends flavors from Down Under with Texas craft brewing. Whether you’re craving a smooth lager, a juicy IPA, or a bold porter, you’ll find something delicious here. Their laid-back taproom and outdoor beer garden make it a great place to hang out between stops.
🌵 Tejas Beer – 2101 Summer Street
The newest addition to the Sawyer Yards beer scene, Tejas Beer delivers classic beer styles with a Texas twist. From crisp Mexican lagers to bold IPAs and smooth kolsches, their brews are designed for easy drinking with big flavors. Their outdoor space is the perfect spot to soak in the Houston sun with a cold one.
